Thank you Dan and Martin. I suppose it could be an import.
I agree with martin. Those pods in your spotting are what the seeds look like long after the flowers have fallen off. The leaves and red stems also match. Plus the natural range may not match but being Singapore, this is not native and maybe a garden escapee.

Thanks martin, but I'm not sure it is C ficifolia. The appearance doesn't match, nor does the distribution of this species...
