Field Notes

Notes:

The live along the Niagara River. A pair beside the whirlpool golf course and a group of about 10 across from Brock's Monument, (looking up the path from the round parking lot). They soar of the thermals coming up off the fast moving river.

These are great photos, David. Like all vultures, they have a pretty rough head, but how magnificent these birds are in flight. Breathtaking!
Great series! I'd love you to add this to the mission Raptors of North America: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8627557
