Field Notes

Description:

My first Moose Calf spotting!
He was standing beside his mother.
There was a bunch of moose around scattered in the woods.
Second photo is from a video record.

Habitat:

In North America, the moose range includes almost all of Canada (excluding the arctic), most of Alaska, northern New England and upstate New York, the upper Rocky Mountains, northern Minnesota, Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and Isle Royale in Lake Superior.

Notes:

I saw this little buddy while hiking the Mont Blanc (the one in Quebec!).
The Mosse Calf and his mum were looking at me first, then they felt that I wasn't an enemy and let me take pictures of them.
