Description:

Found chirping on very pale dried plants by the freeway.

Notes:

Some juvenile cicada? Do we have to wait until it matures to tell more information about it?

Machi
Juveniles do not have wings. It is possible it recently molted. However, there are many cicadas in California and I am not expert on ID.
