Description:

Yellow and black hoverfly. The abomen has black and yellow stripes. Some of the yellow stripes are broken in the center. "They can be easily recognised because these characteristics are almost unique among the hoverflies."

Unknown plant along river

Notes:

First of this genus for Bug Guide in Alaska
