Description:

The common house gecko is a native of southeast Asia but has been spread around the world to various (sub) tropical locations.

Habitat:

Spotted in grass near an outbuilding and stack of lumber in a village yard. Other habitats surrounding the village include freshwater swamp forest, sago swamp, ocean beach and a forested limestone cliff ridge.
