Family: Reduviidae (Assassin bugs). Older nymph. Length: .75 inches (19 mm). Injects long proboscis into soft-bodied insects. Enzymes paralyzes insect and dissolves their insides. Helpful insect. Dangerous to handle. Prey is Argus Tortoise Beetle (Chelymorpha cassidea)

Habitat:

Meadow with abundant weeds and flowers.
