Description:

The Black-crowned night heron is a migrating heron in its northern range. The stocky bird is mostly white with a black crown, back, and bill. They have red eyes and short yellow legs.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Bois D'Arc Creek Wildlife Management Area in Arkansas.
