Thanks Michael!! It's nice to get help from people that knows their stuff! I will change te ID!
I don't think it is Chelymorpha phytophagica, because that species lives further North (SE United States). However, the ID is not far off. I think it's one of the other species of Chelymorpha with "hairy" elytra, of which five are recorded from Costa Rica and nearby countries: C. comata, gressoria, costaricensis, sericea and pubescens.
