Description:

A little more than 1" long and tall. There are several species of Hanging-thieves that are almost identical. One of the most interesting of the robber flies, they have been known to hang from just one leg while consuming their prey.

Habitat:

Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland, FL - Marshland
