Field Notes

Description:

People say this snake is extremely aggressive and will "chase you." This isn't true. They will stand and show you their white mouth instead of running. And they will bit if scared for lives. But when I picked this snake up on a "p wedge" I think it was. (I didn't have my snake hook on the golf course at the time" any way when I picked him up he got out of the striking position and calmly slithered away.

Habitat:

Golf course right on the edge of weeds creating a swampy area before I tempted out into the bayou

Notes:

He just came out of his neonate stage so he was actually kind of red! Really cool
