Description:
This eagle has a nest out in a valley near our house and has been frequenting our ponds accompanied with a fledgling, but the fledgling has never come in close for photography, just circling in the sky way high up. Wish I had better camera for this sake. What a beautiful creature

Are these hunters or scavengers? The fish it pulled out in this pic appeared to already be dead.
