Description:

Juvenile, looks like a sparrow at first glance but the spotted throat and flanks and white patches between the eyes give it away.

Habitat:

Mountain airfield, 4,000', covered in bushes.

Nice! I had never seen a juvenile. The plumage is quite different from the adult.
