Field Notes

Description:

Small Treehopper. Green abdomen, black head and "helmet" area. Transparent wings. Black femora with greenish tibia to end of legs.

Habitat:

Suburban garden. Found in numbers on the stems of Conyza canadensis (Horseweed).
