Description:

Family: Crambidae, Subfamily: Pyraustinae. (Pyraustine moths). Wingspan: 35 mm. Semi-translucent wings have beautiful colors of violet, gold and white and black. Dark FW with bold jagged lines and white bands and spots. Hosts: Hazelnut, basswood and strawberry bush.

Habitat:

Backyard on house. (Near lawn, woodlands and meadow)
