Beautiful moth! Although this moth does appear to look like some pug moths in the subfamily Larentiinae, tribe Eupitheciini, it is actually a member of the family Uraniidae, known as swallowtail moths. Moths in the subfamily Epipleminae are known as scoopwing moths and generally lack the elaborate tails of other moths in this family.
