Field Notes

Description:

A fairly large puffball type (about the size of a tennis ball) with a relatively thin lumpy skin. This one was already split and releasing it's grey spore.

Habitat:

In loose short grass in a dry sclerophyll eucalptus.

Notes:

Confirmed to Scleroderma sp. - so far no sign of deeper ID
