Description:

Muscovy ducks appear brownish-black with green and purple dorsal plumage and white wing patches. They mainly silent, but the male Muscovy ducks produces a low hiss sound while the female Muscovy ducks produces a short, weak "quack."

Habitat:

Muscovy ducks are naive to Mexico, Central and South America. The are also found in small populations in the southern regions of Texas.
