Family: Reduuviidae (Assassin bugs). Length: .50 inches (12.7 mm) Younger nymphs have red abdomens. With prey. Injects proboscis into soft-bodied insects, enzymes paralyzes and dissolves insides. Slow-moving insect.

Habitat:

Meadow/woodlands edge.
