Description:

Purple flower roughly 2 inches. 3 outer sepals, 3 inner petals. Grows to approx. 6-12 inches high.

Habitat:

Coastal prairie. Southern and eastern Texas, Western Louisiana.

Notes:

Flower opens in the morning and close in the afternoon.
