Field Notes

Description:

Sample taken had a cap of 7 cm but there were larger specimens, including a very large specimen that I did not take a picture of that was at least 15 to 20 cm wide. Gills were pink and spore print was a deep, salmon pink.

Habitat:

Woods around a creek in the northern area of Riverside Park.

Notes:

Edible, but I haven't tried them.
