DanielePralong Thank you, I also studied some photos and it is definitively the barred owlet
Hi Altha! With these white bars I'd say you could have an African Barred Owlet (Glaucidium capense) or a Pearl-spotted Owlet (Glaucidium perlatum). Both are found in your area. Hard to say more with the distant shot :-)
Nice spotting.Sometimes it is hard to get birds cooperating when we are photographing them.
