Description:
A medium-sized gull with a lot to say -- these guys are quite vocal and tend to hang out in big groups. As the name suggests, they have a black ring on their yellow bill. Their appearance changes with every fall.
Habitat:
Migratory, with breeding grounds in Canada and northern US. Nest on the ground.
