Description:
A strange cylindrical little long-horned beetle, covered in hairs and with a mottled coloring of browns and blacks. The eyes are small. It feigns death when disturbed and falls to the ground. When at rest the antennae are held close to the body. Only when it is walking, does it hold its antennae outwards. About 8 mm in length. Family Cerambycidae.
Habitat:
At lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
