Thanks so much Jonathan.Looks like you are a wasp expert .Could you check my Gall spottings out?
Any species of Mischocyttarus can be ruled out. That genus always has an elongate first abdominal segment, and the only species from Florida has more yellow markings on each tagmata (head, thorax, and abdomen) and won't have black markings on the abdomen. This is actually Polistes fuscatus.
