I always stay a respectful distance away from the animals (unless it's a reptile that my husband has captured - he is a qualified reptile catcher). I am trying to think of an Australian animal that would chase you rather than run away... some birds get aggressive during breeding season, but apart from that we're pretty lucky. We don't have anything that's likely to eat us!! : )
I've got to say, with you taking all these photos are you not scared that one of these times they might chase you? I would be scared to be that close to a wild animal!
