Description:

The black band coming down from the eye distinguishes this clearwing moth from other clearwings. This snowberry clearwing moth was sharing the flower with a large milkweed bug and some milkweed bug nymphs.

Thanks! I've been seeing quite a few this year, in my yard because I have a butterfly bush they like. I'm also getting the hummingbird clearwing moths. They are such interesting insects!
Very nice series! I've been waiting for these to come around my area, but haven't seen any yet this year.
