Field Notes

Description:

This bird was huge. I have never seen a bird as large and powerful looking as the Bald Eagle. It's body and wings were a dark brown and its head was a pure white.

Habitat:

Bald Eagles are usually found in more rural places, with lots or woods and fields. This Bald Eagle was sitting on a tree overlooking a lake in the woods or Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
