Rich woods are the habitat of this large drooping, single-flowered bellwort. The scentless lemon-yellow blooms, 1 1-1/2 inch long appear from April to June The stem is 20-30 inches appears to pierce the leaves

Notes:

Great Lake Averill near the beech access along the shore in the rich wooded area.
