Field Notes

Description:

A unique white tailed squirrel joins our squirrel gang!

Notes:

Could not believe our eyes, when we saw it for the first time yesterday! Pretty exciting to watch this unusual squirrel and hope to watch more of it!

Calling it the 'white - tailed' palm squirrel for now!
'They are not albino squirrels. The color variation can come from a recessive trait that will occasionally appear in the genetic line. The color variation is more often seen in gray squirrels'.
