Field Notes

Description:

Small grey-and-white raptor with black shoulder patches, yellow legs and red eye from fam Accipitridae. Approx 35 cm in length.

Habitat:

Wooded area of Nairobi NP.

Notes:

I hesitated for a long time before posting it here - mainly because of poor quality images... These are long-range clicks, shot from hand-held camera under the scorching sun and light...
I was not very happy with results, sorry about that. However, I decided to post it anyway, because this Black-shouldered kite was my lifer...
