Description:

Black and yellow bands on the abdomen with a red tip.

Habitat:

Spotted in my backyard foraging on blackberry plants.

Genus Ichneumon. Looks very similar to Ichneumon subdolus, but not found in the same region. http://portugal.inaturalist.org/observations?locale=en-US&place_id=1&subview=map&taxon_id=153417&view=species
