Description:

L.corrugatus is one of two endemic species of corrugated water frogs in Sri Lanka. The other being L.pera which was discovered in 2018 and listed as CR(critically endangered) by the IUCN redlist. L.corrugatus is listed as NT(near threatened) by the IUCN redlist. https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/58324/156580051

Habitat:

Kanneliya–Dediyagala–Nakiyadeniya, dense rainforest.

Notes:

Kanneliya forest reserve was designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2004 and is one of the last of the largest rainforests in Sri Lanka with Sinharaja rainforest. The rainforest house many endemic species of both flora and fauna. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanneliya%......
