Ligdia adustata is a similar species, but to my knowledge is not found in North America. However, a close relative, Mesoleuca ruficillata looks like a perfect match in this case. Here is a reference link: http://bugguide.net/node/view/35960/bgimage

Hi Emily! eol seems to confirm this species is not found in North America. There must be a similar species for the New World? http://eol.org/pages/414700/maps It may be best to return this one to the non-IDed ist.
