Field Notes

Description:

Ruby-throated Hummingbirds are bright emerald or golden-green on the back and crown, with gray-white underparts. Males have a brilliant iridescent red throat that looks dark when it’s not in good light.

Habitat:

Feeder in wildlife habitat.

Notes:

This male has been coming to my feeder, but always seems to have it's back to me or be on the other side of the feeder. So far this shot of its back is the only one I've been able to get.
