If you think it's a Tanager, there are only two in range for this time of year. Summer and Western. There is no way this is a Summer Tanager. I stick with what I said yesterday about it being an Immature Western Tanager.
I couldn't tell if it was a flycatcher or tanager, but I'm leaning towards some type of tanager, as its bill was longer and thicker than many flycatchers, and lacks the flycatcher crest...hmm
This is actually not an oriole, its bill is much thicker than an oriole's, and it looks a bit different to the female orioles we have in the area (mostly hooded). Thanks so much for the suggestion though!
