Description:

Shrubby wildflower. Thin, wiry stems with many branches, hairy. Scaly bracts open up to lavender, rayless flower heads. Narrow leaves with soft hairs.

Habitat:

Roadside.

Notes:

Introduced and considered invasive in many areas in the USA. Grows readily in disturbed areas.
