Very fleshy, about a metre tall. Small cream flowers & green & cream fruits.

Thank you Leuba & Viv! Viv the leaves of that pittosporum look much more leathery, the leaves on this plant were quite soft & fleshy. Leuba, that link is fantastic, I'll certainly get some use out of it! Thank you very much to both of you :)

...something makes me think "Mangrove" more than Pittosporum, given where it is growing, thickness of the leaves and the white flower buds. Will check again - Viv might be right. The arrangement of the leaves has got me wondering...
