Reticulated Giraffe

Among the most well known of the giraffe species, this specimen is a captive animal at the Tulsa Zoo in Tulsa Oklahoma. I love giraffes because they look so strange. I remember my 10th grade biology teacher making a presentation about evolution using a beanie baby giraffe as an example. It was very memorable. Giraffes can be a bit vicious, I know they fight in the wild and I know that sometimes they will ram a female with their horns until she pees and then they drink said pee to see if she's able to mate. Kinda crazy.
