Description:

This is not a marigold flower. It's a fungus arranged like a flower. The fruit bodies are spatula-shaped. The color is orange when fresh, but it darkens to orangish-red when dry. It grows on rotting wood.

Habitat:

Western Himalayas. Found all over Asia.
