Field Notes

Description:

Most likely all M. f. iberiae sub-species but there was at least one other with a buffish throat so likely a Continental M. f. flava, see separate spotting. In some plumages Wagtails can be extremely difficult to separate, especially Yellows.

Habitat:

Drying pond on mountain airfield with scattered trees and bushes at nearly 4,000'.
