Globe Thistle

Echinops bannaticus

Thanks Tiz, actually the two plants are very similar. As you suggested I put the more generic ID and see if someone else will be able to identify the exact species! Thank you again! :)
Valentinezza, I am sorry but my reasearch was not well executed. It is still possible it is a Echinops bannaticus, but it can also be a Echinops sphaerocephalus or perhaps even some other Echinops sp. To be on the safe side I would suggest you to change the ID to Echinops sp. instead of Echinops bannaticus, unless someone can be more sure about how to separate these two species from eachother. The good part is that it is still a Globe thistle :) Again, sorry for this!
You are very welcome :)
