Description:

This is one of the more attractive Hairstreaks with bold underside markings and a blue spot in the hindwing anal angle.

Habitat:

mountain rocky clearing, alt. 1900 m

Malcolm I think yours has much less blue color on the tail.... I would agree with Jopy too
thank you, Malcolm, I will do my research tomorrow...also I think it's Satyrium spini, has similar blue marking on underside of hindwings..
I am not 100% on this as there are several quite similar, especially the Black Hairstreak, and in my book they are listed as up to 1200 metres only.
