Field Notes

Description:

Small greyish blue discs about 5mm wide, distorted in shape because of crowding. The outer surface and margins appeared to have short hairs. The disc surfaces were moist but smooth.
Smaller bluer budding discs were also seen on wood.

Habitat:

Spotted on damp decaying tree stump, probably Eucalyptus.

Notes:

Discs are said to dry out to a yellow or cream colour.
Not able to find much information on this fungi. An Ascomycete.
