Description:

They feed on grass seeds, berries and seeds of trees and shrubs. They also eat some insects. They are small, but often form flocks with other nurseries. Often, males sing at the top of a tree well. They breed from May to August. They lay two eggs and rarely three.------------------------Se alimentan de semillas de pasto, bayas y semillas de árboles y arbustos. También consumen algo de insectos. Forman grupos pequeños, aunque a menudo forman bandadas con otros semilleros. Con frecuencia, los machos cantan en la parte bien alta de un árbol. Se reproducen de mayo a agosto. Ponen 2 huevos y raras veces 3.

Habitat:

They are found from southern Mexico to northwestern Peru. They frequent low shrubs, gardens, roadsides and forest, tallgrass large batches of seeds, weedy fields or pastures. On the other hand, move between clear and forest belts traverse.-------------------------Se encuentran desde el sur de México hasta el noroeste de Perú. Frecuentan matorrales bajos, jardines, bordes de carretera y de bosque, lotes grandes de pastos altos con semillas, campos o potreros enmalezados. Por otro lado, se desplazan entre claros y atraviesan cinturones de bosque.
