Description:

bell shaped caps (diam: 6cm, 3cm. height: 5 cm 2.7 cm), smooth light gray-brown surface. cap margin has some striations corresponding to gills. Gills white when young, becoming slightly pink with age. gills dense, free from stem, smooth edge. Stem (height: 12 cm, 7 cm. diam: 1cm slightly thicker at base) white with fomay texture under magnification. interior is white with vertical "grain". Centre missing or pithy. No ring. Volva present.

Habitat:

on wood mulch under shrubs and immature elm in public park.
