Field Notes

Description:

A medium seized frog which can be up to 30mm to 60mm big. The colour and pattern is so varied that the best description would be "kinda green and brown".

Habitat:

A small pond just outside our backyard door in Adelaide

Notes:

We made a frog pond just for introducing spotted marsh frogs into our garden. We got some tadpoles from the Nature Education Centre and once the tadpoles had grown into frogs we released then into the garden from which they have flourished so much that we might have too many! They are very noisy.
