Description:

t. striatus is found in eastern north america. has different shades of brown all over it's body, with a tawny stripe and black outer lines going down the side of it's back. up to 30 cm. in length.

Habitat:

there's a bird feeder perched on an upright log out in my neighbor's backyard. the chipmunk has made a home in the dirt right beside it.
