Description:

The largest beetle in the United States; they can grow over 2 inches long.

The males have the noticeable horns, while females have more rounded heads. Both are olive green-brown with darker brown/black spots.

Habitat:

Lives in the eastern and southern US in shady areas with lots of plants.

Notes:

Was found already deceased.
