Field Notes

Notes:

I saw this solitary Black-shouldered Kite hovering over Neverfill Dam. It stayed in the one spot for ages, just holding its position (the third shot shows it hovering with its tail spread out). A lovely bird, and good for eating introduced mice in agricultural areas!
